Profile of the President
Prof. Joseph Oteng-Adjei completed Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in 1981 with a First Class Honours in Electrical Engineering; and had the MSc. and PhD., degrees at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, between 1984 and 190. His area of specialisation is Power Systems. He also holds MBA. in Finance and Economics from Cranfield University, Bedford, England (1999). He was Director of Power at the Ministry of Energy, from 1991-2001 and a Technical Advisor at the Energy Commission, between 2001-2002.
He was appointed as Senior Lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in July 2002; Dean of the Graduate School and Director, Business School (July 2002-Dec. 2004); Director of Greenhill College, (Sept. 2005-Oct. 2006). Dr. Joseph Oteng-Adjei was appointed Cabinet Minister in charge of the Ministry of Energy (Feb. 2009 - Jan. 2012) and later Minsiter of Environment, Science and Technology. Until his appointment as President of Ghana Baptist University College, Prof. Joseph Oteng-Adjei, was an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering at KNUST Adjunct), where he lectured in Project Managment/Investment Appraisal and Power Markets/economics (2017-2021).

The graduate school has two main segments of programs. The first segment is an MBA General Management program which comes under the UCC. A second segment is a number of masters and Ph.D programs that are run in collaboration with the SUMY State University in Ukraine.
